In the West, Industrial Revolution, led to an era of ‘specialisation’ with professionals applying the formal planning process. The Modern movement, cut across this, in the 30’s and 40’s with a ‘generalist or inter-disciplinary’ approach to design.
Several inventions continue to be the result of many minds, at different points in time - here, we make a case of collective effort, at a single point.
