Canvas Mega was launched in 2015 and is made of plastic and metal. It is a
pocket-friendly model costing about Rs. 9000, but is enabled with all the
latest features such as a front camera, fourth-generation compatibility, and
sufficient memory space.
The phone has been designed keeping in mind that younger generations are
increasingly catching up on entertainment shows, news and other videos while
on-the-go. For this reason, the handset has an enlarged 5.5 inches screen.
Micromax is India’s second largest phone seller and recently, in a bid to boost
domestic manufacturing, the company has set up plants in Rudrapur,
Uttarakhand. The brand is popular for low-cost phones with hi-tech features;
and amongst other merits, it was the first to launch a phone with 30-day
battery life and dual-SIM capacity in India.
