The Plume Tea-Light Stand is a result of collaborative effort. The original
abstract was developed by Argentinean illustrator Leandro Castelao and his
drawing was translated into DuPont Corian by Divya Thakur.
The candle stand is an echo of older brass lamps that routinely incorporated
animal forms into their design. The peacock is the vehicle of Karthikeya - the
God that conquers all vices. The six points of illumination stand to dispel lust,
anger, greed, passion, ego and jealousy.
